Sony Vaio launches vibrant shades with new E-series laptops

Sony India yesterday launched the Vaio E-series laptops.

The laptops available in classic shades black and white with matte finishing, and glossy and vivid shades blue, pink, green, black and white with dot gradation grab instant attention.

Starting at base price of Rs34,990 they come in two screen sizes, 14 and 15.5 inches.
 
Masaru Tamagawa, managing director, Sony India, said, ''The E-series with vibrant and colourful looks are perfect for everyday browsing.''

Sony will also launch the 'Go Vivid' brand campaign with Kareena Kapoor, actress and brand ambassador of Sony Vaio. 

''The message 'Go Vivid' befits the vibrant laptops and helps connect with youngsters.
Our brand ambassador, Kareena is a cool youth-icon who exudes a tremendous sense of style that resonates well with brand Vaio.'' Tamagawa added.

Sony has allocated a total budget of Rs20 crores towards ATL and BTL activities that involves print and electronic media, online, outdoor and shop-front for its Vaio category.

Sony India holds market share of 12 per cent in the consumer notebook market and targets 20 per cewnt by 2010 with the launch of the new Vaio models.
