Qimpro Convention is a recognition platform for organizations to showcase their noteworthy improved processes and innovative practices. The event applauds achieved excellence through efforts by the middle management.

It is jointly hosted by Qimpro Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (www.qimpro.com) and BestPrax Club Pvt. Ltd. (www.bestpraxclub.com).

Since inception in 1989, Qimpro Convention's focus has been on improvement. The last couple of years saw innovation also being recognized.

The event is a culmination of a seven-month long competitive process. The 'Call for Papers' process commenced in January 2009.

• All papers received will be assessed by a group of examiners, who are subject matter experts.
• Five highest scoring papers under Improvement and Innovation each will be shortlisted to present at the finals – Qimpro Convention 2009.
• A distinguished jury will vote one winner for the QualTech Prize for Improvement, and one winner for the BestPrax Compass for Innovation.

The convention not only provides as a recognition platform, but also facilitates benchmarking. Delegates and competitors have learnt from, and benchmarked against the presentations of these noteworthy processes and practices.
