 Mumbai:
During the third quarter ended September 30, 2004,
Patni Computer Systems Ltd reported revenues of $82.05
million (Rs3,766.69 million), up by 21.9 per cent over
$67.32 million (Rs3,082.10 million) in Q3 2003. Gross
profit was at $32.49 million (Rs1,491.80 million), an
increase of 22.2 per cent from $26.59 million (Rs1,217.29
million).
Operating
income and profit before taxes (PBT) during the quarter
were at $16.26 million (Rs.746.68 million) and $17.14
million (Rs786.71 million) respectively, 24.9 per cent
and 28.3 per cent higher
than the corresponding quarter last year. Net income
was at $15.11 million (Rs693.73 million), up 33.5 per
cent compared to $11.32 million (Rs518.06 million).
Diluted EPS for the quarter was at US$ 0.12 (Rs5.30).
