PHD wins PepsiCo Australia’s media mandate

Omnicom Group's media services company, has won the media planning and buying account for PepsiCo's Australia business. The account size is pegged at $26-30 million.

WPP's Mindshare was the other agency vying for the account, which was handled by EightyK's earlier.

PHD will handle PepsiCo's brands Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, Doritos, Red Rock Deli and Sakata amongst others.

PepsiCo's media strategy in Australia though will continue to be handled by Bellamy Hayden.

PHD had recently bagged the account of home shopping giant Guthy-Renker.
