Mumbai: Hindustan Lever (HLL) has launched Nihar Naturals hair oil, combining the benefits of coconut oil and methi (fenugreek), available in three floral variants - rose, jasmine and hibiscus.

Says HLL business unit head (hair care) D Shivakumar: “Nihar Naturals is a product of our constant research and development. One need not worry about harsh products being used on hair anymore, says a company press release. With a hair oil brand like Nihar Naturals, HLL has used natural ingredients like methi and hibiscus in the new hair oil.

Says HLL head (hair innovation centre) Dr S Raghupathi: “With Nihar Naturals, we have tried to provide consumers a delightful and affordable product mingled with the goodness of nature. Coconut oil contains glycerol fatty acids, which naturally nourish your hair. Coconut oil also acts as a natural conditioner, making hair smooth and easy to comb. The oil of methi is rich in nourishment and is believed to be a do good for hair. It is cool on one’s head and works as a natural conditioner for dull, lifeless hair.”

Hibiscus, on the other hand, gives a healthy shine to one’s hair. The fragrance of rose and jasmine offers a soothing property and acts on the emotional or psychological state of mind. They both seem to enhance the positive state of the mind and help in relaxation and refreshment.
