Hikal Q4 net profit at Rs 8.14 crore; declares 65% dividend

Mumbai: Hikal Ltd has declared an interim dividend of 40 per cent and a final dividend of 25 per cent.

The company's total turnover for the quarter ended 31 March 2003 has gone up to Rs 39.57 crore as against Rs 38.08 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 8.14 crore for the quarter as against Rs 6.78 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company's total turnover for the year ended 31 March 2003 has gone up to Rs 128.42 crore as against Rs 114.33 crore for the previous year - an increase of 12 per cent.

The company has posted net profit of Rs 23.29 crore for the year as against Rs 19.87 crore in the previous year - an increase of 17 per cent.

Hikal, a global growth company established in 1998, is involved in custom synthesis and toll manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), agrochemicals and intermediates. Jai Hiremath is the managing director of Hikal.
