HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that HCL Great Britain has been chosen as one of the 'top information and communication technology' (ICT) employers in the UK by a new guide from the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) an independent global organisation that researches global best business practices from an HR perspective.
HCL employs approximately 2,350 employees in the UK, 2000 of whom are UK nationals, thus making it the largest Indian IT employer of local staff in the UK and among the top 10 private sector employers in NI. The study, Top ICT Employers in the UK, is published by CRF in close association with Computing magazine, and endorsed by the British Computer Society (BCS), the National Computing Centre (NCC) and the trade association Intellect, ranks HCL Great Britain alongside leading ICT companies such as Tesco and Nokia.. This study takes cognisance of leading employment practices and career opportunities for IT professionals across ICT companies. It HCL Great Britain was selected in the Top ICT Employers in the UK guide on the basis of its innovation, progress in delivering competitive pay and benefits, active development and promotion of staff, the availability of training and company culture.
