The Madras High Court ruled today that the ongoing anti-dumping investigation and imposition of anti-dumping duty against car major Hyundai for import of cast aluminium alloy wheels from China, Korea and Thailand, could not be terminated, The Times of India reported.

The company had filed four writ petitions seeking to halt the ongoing anti-dumping investigation against it and had also challenged the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on it.

The matter pertains to the anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties on a complaint filed by Visakapatnam-based Synergies Castings Ltd, a manufacturer of cast aluminium alloy wheels.
