Electrolux unveils Ozone range of frost-free refrigerators news

New Delhi: Electrolux Kelvinator, a leading white goods major, has officially announced its next phase of brand management that engages the company’s new brand positioning, ‘Nurturing Hopes, Nourishing Life’, and brand strategy after having recently integrated its brands.

As part of the company’s aggressive growth plans, the new positioning and strategy aim to establish a strong multi-category presence in home appliances, ensuring top-of-the-line superior products for the Indian consumer. The first in line, is the Ozone range of refrigerators with the World’s First Life Nourishing System (LNS).

Electrolux Kelvinator intends to offer a range of home appliances with LNS, which are based on a combination of cutting-edge technology and incisive consumer insights. These appliances aim to not only enrich your life but also help you nurture hopes for a happy future, a company press release said.

Says Electrolux Kelvinator MD and CEO Rajeev Karwal: “Our focus at EKL this year will be to build Electrolux Kelvinator as a multi-category appliance brand. We intend to grow the brand to a leadership status in the Indian market, like it enjoys the world over. To ensure this, the company has created a series of exciting technology- and design-driven products that will be launched through the year.

“The first step towards this is the launch of the Ozone range of refrigerators, the Aquaflow Refrigerator range, and the Washy Talky washing machine. With a series of innovative products, exciting marketing initiatives and retail activity - EKL aims to consolidate its position and attain a strong foothold in the home appliances market.”

Ergonomically designed with a sleek exterior, the Ozone comes with a host of first-ever features and is targeted at consumers who seek pride in owning a new age frost-free refrigerator, prefer fresh and tastier food, superior performance, user-friendly features and stylish products. The Ozone refrigerator incorporates a host of first-time-ever features to nourish one’s life in all respects.

Developed and manufactured at the state-of the art manufacturing facility in Warora, the top-of-the-line Ozone is CFC-free refrigerator and in keeping with the Montreal Protocol. The Ozone ranges of refrigerators are available in two sizes — 230 litres and 270 litres — in two variants: premium and luxury priced as below:

  • 230L Premium: Rs 14,390
  • 230L Luxury: Rs 15,390
  • 270L Premium: Rs 16,690
  • 270L Luxury: Rs 17,990

Electrolux Kelvinator will continue to market its premium and imported range of home appliances under its brand Electrolux which will include top-of-the-line refrigerators, air-conditioners, dishwashers, cooking ranges, microwave ovens and front-loading washing machines. The third brand, continued to be marketed by the group, is Allwyn. An upgraded range of refrigerators will be launched under the Allwyn brand targeted at the consumers seeking value for money in select states across India.
