Concerto Software acquires Rockwell FirstPoint Contact

New Delhi: Concerto Software, a leading provider of contact centre solutions worldwide, has acquired Rockwell FirstPoint Contact from Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK). This is Concerto''s fourth acquisition this year, after Melita International, CenterForce Technology and Positive Software Systems. According to Frost & Sullivan, Concerto holds 66.7 per cent of the market share for outbound contact centre systems in India.

The company anticipates in excess of $250 million in annual revenues while continuing to offer products and services designed to communications-enable the business processes surrounding sales and marketing, collections, and customer service.

Two product sets are now available to meet the needs of existing and new contact centres, whether traditional voice or Voice over IP (VoIP), the Concerto Unified Edition, based on the EnsemblePro platform and the Concerto Enterprise Suite.

Former Rockwell FirstPoint Contact president, Terry Murphy, will assume the role of executive vice president of corporate development for Concerto Software.
