Mumbai: CMC Ltd, earlier a public sector unit and now a Tata group company, has announced that it has won a multi-crore total branch automation (TBA) order from Central Bank of India.

The TBA order covers automation of 300 branches across 36 cities and involves installation of IT equipment including latest PCs, servers and printers in each of the branches.

This would enable the bank to expand its IT-enabled services to a larger base of customers across the country.

Recently CMC had also been selected by the bank to set up its countrywide network, proving interconnectivity to its regional and branch offices for data and voice communication.
