BenQ enters digital camera segment, to launch more models soon

Mumbai: BenQ (www.BenQ.co.in) has launched its latest digital camera in DC 1300 (1.3 Megapixels) that is sleek, slim and fits your pocket. The company expects to roll out more models subsequently. This is expected to bolster BenQ's product portfolio in the imaging segment.

The BenQ Digital Camera 1300's sleek and elegant appearance draws from a striking pearl-white shell that also provides a luxuriously textured feel. This 1.3 mega-pixels digital camera not only looks great, but also lets you easily and reliably captures photographs with rich and vibrant colour.

Moreover, the BenQ Digital Camera 1300 can even record video with sound, and serve as a videoconferencing device. With a wealth of capabilities within its diminutive form, the 1300 is much more than just a digital camera.

Mumbai-based Roop Technologies has been appointed by BenQ India as its regional distributor. Says Roop Technologies director Umang Mehta: “We will leverage our strengths in terms of reach, promoting the concept of digital lifestyle products in general, and BenQ's range of imaging and inputs products in particular.“

While Roop Technologies will cover the markets in western India and Andhra Pradesh, the BenQ digital cameras will also be available through IT Eastern Distribution for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Micromax for north, and Byte Peripherals for Madhy Pradesh.

BenQ's range of imaging products comprises scanners and digital cameras. BenQ offers a complete range of scanners comprising 640P (Parallel Port), 4300U (600 dpi x 1200 dpi-USB), 5300U, 5000E, 5000U (1200 dpi x 2400 dpi-USB), 640BT (600 dpi x 1200 dpi-transparency scanners) and 7400 UT (1200 x 2400 dpi-USB transparency scanners).
