Acer launches the new Aspire8920G news

Acer has launched its new desktop-replacement notebook the aspire 8920g.The notebook has dimension's of 441.4 x 300 x 40.2/44.2mm weighing 4.1kg.

The 8920G has an 18.4'' high definition LCD screen and a brightness of 300nit. The screen also has an 8-millisecond response time.

Acer Aspire8920G The laptop uses intel centrino processor tech which has a processing speed of 2.2GHz and an 800 MHz (fsb) front side bus and 4Mb of  L2 cache.

The Aspire8920G has an mobile Intel PM965 express Chipset, Dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM support and 3GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory.

It uses windows vista home premium as the operating system and has an Nvidia Geforce 9500M  GS (gpu)graphics processing unit with12808MB turbo cache.

The laptop has a 512MB of GDDR2 VRAM which ensures that there is enough memory for gaming. It also comes with a 320GB hard disk .

There's also a 6-in-1 card reader, supporting secure Digital (SD), multimedia card (MMC), multimedia card plus (MMC plus), memory stick (MS), memory stick PRO (MS PRO).

The laptop comes with a number of ports and connectivity options including four USB 2.0 ports as well as high definition multimedia interface port with high-bandwidth content protection.

The notebook uses a 8-cell Li-ion battery pack and 3-pin 90W AC adapter which gives a 2.5 hour battery life. It is backed with a one-year international travellers warranty (ITW).
