The new Audi A4 sedan will be introduced in India in July. The newly redesigned Audi A4 offers a sporty and stylish design, which is larger but lighter than its previous models.

The company saysn the car provides the longest wheelbase and also the largest rear legroom in this class.

At an overall length of 4.70 meters, the new A4 is a large saloon. It boasts a substantial, powerful road presence. It also has a 480-litre boot that is again the biggest as compared to its competitors. (View the Audi A4 picture gallery)

The new A4 also provides a premium ambience. It has spacious interiors as can be expected in this segment. Although it sports a new, sporty and stylish design still possesses a distinguished demenour.

Speaking at the launch, Benoit Tiers, managing director Audi India said, ''The new Audi A4 will be a very important model for India and we hope that this award-winning car will take the hearts of our customers by storm! The Audi A4 holds a special significance with respect to achieve our proposed goal of more than 1,000 sold cars in India by the end of this year.

The Audi A4 comes with the Multi Media Interface (MMI) in addition to the Optical Parking System with rearview camera and the Bang & Olufsen Sound System. (View the interview: Benoit Tiers, Managing Director, Audi India )

The Audi A4 was originally launched in India with an option of two engines, the refined 2.0 TDI multitronic with a power-output range of 105 kW (143 bhp) and the 3.2 FSI tiptronic quattro with 195 kW (265 bhp). Both these models used the direct fuel injection principle.

The car will sport a Rs2,900,000 price tag (ex-showroom Mumbai).
