Cleartrip appoints Publicis Capital as its creative partner

Publicis Capital has won the creative mandate for online travel portal Cleartrip, following a multi-agency pitch.

JWT was the incumbent agency for the account back in 2008.

On winning the business, Madan Mohan, executive vice-president, Publicis Capital, Mumbai, said that the challenge was to change the conversations, while keeping in mind that the category is driven by price.

OMD India handles the media duties for the account.

In a move to consolidate its operations in India, Publicis Group had recently merged its entities Publicis India and Capital Advertising to form Publicis Capital. (See: Publicis India, Capital Advertising merge to form Publicis Capital)
