Italian car maker, Alfa Romeo has unveiled the new Mi.To small car, which will go on sale in the European markets this summer. Mi.To is a stylish three-door hatchback, which draws certain design attributes from the 8C Competizione, a two-door sports car, which was launched by Alfa Romeo in the 2003 Frankfurt Auto show. The characteristic traits include a reversioned traditional Alfa Romeo shield grille, heavily contoured hood, LED tail lights and prominent round headlamps at the front end. Other features include flared wheel arches, sheer unadorned doors and a distinctive upswept pillar treatment along the sides. Standard features include Alfa Romeo's specially developed VDC stability system and a vehicle structure designed to Euro crash safety standards. With a 98.8-inch wheelbase, the new car is around 159.8 inches in length, making it a good 14.2 inches longer than its main rival, the Mini Cooper S. A driver-operated system will allow the driver to alter the characteristics of the engine, gearbox, steering and damping in three different steps: dynamic, normal and all-weather. The car will be available in both petrol and diesel models. View: Auto videos | Auto picture galleries
