Bangalore: Boeing Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) will feature two combat-proven F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike fighters at the upcoming AeroIndia 2009, commencing here on 11 February. Boeing will also showcase commercial products at the show apart from defence, it said in a statement. While one of the Hornets would be kept on static display, the other would conduct daily aerial demonstrations with a full weapons load, Boeing said. IDS executives will offer briefings on Boeing Military Aircraft, including the P-81 Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance aircraft recently purchased by the Indian Navy and the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet; Boeing Rotorcraft including the CH-47 Chinook and AH-64D Apache and the C-17 Globemaster-III strategic lift aircraft. The Boeing commercial airplanes will exhibit large scale models of its family of airplanes in both Customer and Boeing liveries, as well as interactive displays, it said
