Albuquerque, USA: Eclipse Aviation has announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded Avio NG certification to the Albuquerque-based company.
According to Vern Raburn, president of Eclipse Aviation, with the certification of this flight system that acts as a virtual co-pilot the company has now achieved one of its greatest accomplishments.

The aircraft integration system, designed by Eclipse, controls and manages the aircraft's major system components.

Raburn says that the system provides seamless, safe and reliable jet operating experience, which the company had envisioned for its customers.

Avio NG is to be added to all in-service Eclipse 500s by the end of 2008 at the company's expense.

Vern Raburn is the company's president and chief executive.
